작가 YUN의 작업에서 '지평선(Horizon)'은 풍경의 재현이 아니라 사유가 머무는 물리적 경계선이다. 화면을 가로지르는 절제된 선과 생린넨·목탄·광물 안료가 빚어내는 미묘한 표면의 단차는 관람자로 하여금 걸음을 멈추고 작품과 마주 서게 만든다.
이번 2026년 디지털 도록 《침묵의 지평 (Silent Horizon)》은 최근 발표된 신작 연작과 함께, 공간의 여백이 어떻게 회화의 일부로 편입되는지를 보여주는 대표 도판들을 한자리에 엮었다. 모든 도판은 원본의 종횡비와 물성을 존중하여 수록되었으며, 디지털 환경에서도 실제 전시장의 거리감과 호흡을 경험할 수 있도록 구성되었다.
In YUN's practice, the 'horizon' is not a representation of landscape, but a physical threshold where contemplation rests. Restrained lines traversing the surface and subtle material shifts of raw linen, charcoal, and mineral pigments invite the viewer to pause and confront the work in silence.
